LTG Infra to Develop a New App for Railway Maintenance
LTG Infra, the railway infrastructure company of the LTG Group, is entering the development phase of a new digital solution – LTG Infra Mobile – and is currently seeking a mobile app developer to contribute to the modernization of railway infrastructure maintenance. The app is intended to become the primary tool for upgrading current maintenance workflows.
LTG Infra Mobile will enable employees to record and access data in real time directly from railway work sites. This will not only reduce the likelihood of errors and accelerate data processing, but also improve overall work efficiency – information will be easily accessible, quickly updated, and maintenance tasks will be carried out more effectively.
“This mobile solution is an important step in our digitalization journey. It will help eliminate paper-based inspection books, forms, and journals, allowing employees to focus more on hands-on work rather than administrative tasks – ultimately improving both the quality and productivity of our operations,” says Vytis Žalimas, CEO of LTG Infra.
The app will also support remote monitoring and coordination of work, reduce the need to return to a fixed workplace, enable faster responses to unforeseen situations, and enhance resource management.
Its simplified interface will ensure reliability, streamline task management, reduce repetitive work and administrative costs, improve resource allocation, and boost overall productivity.
The LTG Group, of which LTG Infra is a part, is the largest railway group in the Baltic States. It operates in three main areas: freight and passenger rail transport, and the management, maintenance, and development of public railway infrastructure. The LTG Group consists of the following main subsidiaries: LTG Infra, LTG Cargo, LTG Link, and GTC.
