Project "Safe Tracks"

The project aim: To reduce the level of risk to the public and to raise public awareness of railway safety by implementing, together with partners, technical, organizational and educational measures to protect human life and health.

Project "Safe Tracks"

Safety

LTG Infra aims to ensure safe connections for a better future and to avoid fatalities.

The Public Railway Infrastructure manager can achieve all this by taking preventive measures in the areas of traffic, occupational health and safety, civil protection, fire safety and the environment.

Traffic safety

Our vision in the field of railway transport safety is 0 (zero) disasters or traffic accidents on the railway.

Railway safety is the set of technical and organizational measures designed to ensure that passengers, other railway users and other persons, as well as railway infrastructure, rolling stock and freight and luggage carried, are protected against railway calamities, accidents, incidents and their consequences. AB LTG Infra, as the manager of the railway infrastructure, wishes to warn everyone that the railway is a dangerous object and that in the event of an accident, there would be serious consequences for the safety of people, train traffic and the natural environment.

The railway traffic safety management system interconnects the most important elements of railway traffic safety management, which form the cycle: “plan, act, check, improve”.

Employee Safety and Health

Every employee, when leaving home in the morning and going to work, should feel safe and assured that they will return home healthy in the evening. In our company, the safety, well-being and health of our employees are the highest priority. We understand that the working environment has a great influence not only on the quality of life of the Employees, but also on the well-being of their families.

We make every effort to ensure safe working conditions in order to protect employees from occupational risks or to minimize them as much as possible, and to implement all necessary preventive measures. We believe that employee safety is an essential part of not only their well-being, but also the well-being of the entire organization, and that losses or injuries are not just numbers – they are profound shocks that affect families, colleagues and the entire company, therefore, our goal is to create a culture in which every employee feels valued and safe.

Civil protection

Civil protection is a comprehensive activity, which aims to ensure that both state and municipal institutions, as well as employees of institutions and companies, are prepared and know how to act in emergency situations. It is not just technical solutions or procedures – it is a responsible approach to people’s safety and well-being.

These activities include preparing for potential threats, responding quickly and effectively in the event of a disaster, eliminating the consequences of emergency situations, and assisting in returning to normal life. The aim of civil protection is not only to protect lives but also to ensure that our employees, the people, can quickly recover from such disasters and continue to live in a safe environment.

The key principles of civil protection are prevention, preparedness, response and recovery. Each of these steps is based on a risk and vulnerability assessment, which helps to anticipate potential hazards and prepare for them appropriately.

Acts, permits

We care about the safety and wellbeing of all of our partners, including contractors and service providers, in addition to our employees. We strive for close cooperation, promote the formation of the right attitude towards safety and clearly define responsibilities, therefore, companies or contractors wishing to work in the danger zone of AB LTG Infra, the protection zone of railway tracks and facilities, or the territory of the manager, must obtain a permit and be aware of the existing risk factors and know how to protect themselves from them.

The application for the Act Permit can be submitted in the InfraGo Self-Service:
