The public railway infrastructure manager shall provide a minimum access package (MAP) to the public railway infrastructure. The minimum access package to the public railway infrastructure consists of: 

  • Handling requests for allocation of public railway infrastructure capacity;
  • Granting the right to use the public railway infrastructure according to the allocated capacity of the public railway infrastructure, as well as switches, passenger platforms, power supply equipment to ensure traction current, if such equipment is available;
  • Train traffic management, which includes signalling, regulation, train traffic management; the transmission and provision of information on train movements, as well as all other information necessary for the start of the service or the provision of the service to which the public railway infrastructure capacity has been allocated.
