Šeštokai Intermodal Terminal
The Terminal Management and Development Division of AB LTG Infra is responsible for the Šeštokai terminal, located at Topolių gatvė 10, Šeštokai, Lazdijai district municipality.
Services:
Service provided on the railway service facilities during the period of validity of the service train timetable 2024-2025
Railcar loading (reloading) and related services. The terminal is capable of handling up to 240 TEU per working day
loading and securing of 20, 30, 40 and 45 ft containers, various machinery and equipment, packaged cargo, in bulk bags and on pallets from 1435 mm gauge railcars to 1520 mm gauge railcars and vice versa
transferring freight from railcars of both gauges to road vehicles and vice versa
reloading and securing of oversized and non-standard project loads
mobile team services for loading operations at other stations
Internal machinery at the Šeštokai terminal:
RMG gantry container crane – 41t lifting capacity with automatic grab of 20, 30, 40, 45 ft
MKKS-42K gantry container crane – 32t lifting capacity with automatic grab of 20 and 40 ft;
gantry crane K-20 – 20t lifting capacity, for loading various packaged loads
Renault Midlum freight car up to 10t for transporting cargo
Valtra tractor bulldozer with semi-trailer
1.5 - 4t diesel forklift trucks (3 pcs)
Infrastructure of the Šeštokai terminal:
2 railway loading tracks – 1520 mm gauge track with a useful length of 663 m and a 1435 mm gauge track with a useful length of 791 m
The reloading ramp – 3958 sq. m, 491 m long (including 150 m with awning)
40 TEU places for temporary storage of containers
