Plantation management

LTG Infra is increasingly focusing on the environment through replanting and restoration projects. The company's planting projects contribute to its main goal of creating sustainable infrastructure that will reduce noise for residents, improve the landscape and strengthen the natural framework. The projects are implemented in close cooperation with the communities. The work involves removing trees and shrubs that are in poor condition, dry or severely withered, and which pose a threat to the safe operation of trains. In their place, new trees and shrubs are planted, taking into account their individual characteristics, to form a safe, eye-catching and dense green area.

Determination of protection zones for railway tracks and their facilities and railway plantations

The project aims to register special land use conditions for all land plots falling within the protection zones of railway tracks managed by AB LTG Infra, and to fulfil the obligation of AB LTG Infra established by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania related to the establishment of protection zones for the tracks and their facilities of public railway infrastructure and railway plantations adjacent to the tracks and facilities of public railway infrastructure.

The project will develop plans for the protection zones of public railway infrastructure tracks and their facilities, and railway plantations near public railway infrastructure tracks and their facilities at municipal level.

The project is planned to be implemented by 31 December 2026.
